Mud Hens Opening Day Double Play Ticket Packages Going Fast
The Toledo Mud Hens are pleased to announce the addition of 250 Opening Day Double Play Ticket Packages following the sale of the initial 500 packages for this two-day event. The games will take place on Thursday, April 16 & Friday, April 17. Both contests begin at 5:30 p.m.
The additional packages will be placed on sale beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16. The price for the ticket package is $21.00.
Assistant General Manager/Ticket Sales & Operations, Erik Ibsen said, “We are very excited about our fan’s enthusiasm towards this package and are looking forward to our 8th year at Fifth Third Field. It is another tell-tale sign that the season and spring are just around the corner.”
The box office will also open for business on Monday, February 16 for all individual ticket sales for the 2009 baseball season with the exception of Opening Day (April 16). Some Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets for Opening Day will go on sale in the coming weeks.

**As of this morning, the Mud Hens have pre-sold over 265,000 tickets for the 2009 season.
