Toledo, Ohio - March 11, 2009 - The Ottawa Hills High School Music and Theater Arts Department proudly presents its spring musical production of Pippin. This show is a classic musical filled with excitement, magic, suspense, and love. It is THE BEST OF BROADWAY “live on stage” at Ottawa Hills High School performed by over 50 OH highschool students. As an added flare, a circus theme will be present in this production, entertainment with bright costumes, acrobats, drama, and music.
The musical, Pippin is a story about a young boy, the son of King Charlemagne, who tries to find the meaning of life. Pippin seeks the meaning of life by turning to art, the church, and the power of the throne, but he doesn’t feel that any of these serves his purpose. Unexpectedly, he stumbles upon a widow, who along with her son, shows him the meaning of family and in turn, helps bring meaning to his life. Although people surrounding Pippin think suicide is the answer to his question, he finds the answer in love and family. The excitement, magic, and love presented in this story will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end of the performance.

• Sunday, March 29th matinee at 3:00 PM
