Time to Celebrate National Library Week April 12 - 18, 2009!
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance presented by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is proud to celebrate National Library Week with festivities and programs for all ages. Most Library locations will offer family-oriented programs to celebrate the week.
National Library Week only comes around annually, so this is the only chance to catch the fun until next year. Visit a local Library location, celebrate National Library Week, and enjoy everything your Library has to offer.
For a full schedule of National Library Week branch activities,
