Computer Works of Toledo Nominated for BBB Torch Award
Mike Deye of Hale Performance Coatings Nominates Computer Works for Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics
TOLEDO, OH – March 23, 2009 -- Computer Works of Toledo, a provider of information technology consulting services to the Northwest Ohio region is pleased to announce its nomination for a Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. Now in its eighth year, the award is given to three area for-profit businesses and one non-profit whose business practices and related activities represent the BBB’s mission of promoting the highest standards of business ethics and conduct.
In his nomination, Mike Deye of Hale Performance Coatings explained that his company has struggled with computer repair and maintenance for as long as he can remember. “When computers break, work comes to a complete stop, Mike said. “What I am impressed with is when a call is made for a repair, they are here like lightning! On top of that, all repairs are done 100% accurate, and usually an improvement is made.”
Mr. Deye goes on to say, “When I am out and about, it seems that bad service is easy to find. It has been a long quest of ours to find a company like Computer Works. An independent panel of volunteers will select the 2009 Torch Award recipients based on criteria established by the BBB. One award will be given to each of the following: a business of one to 10 employees, a business of 11 to 50 employees, a business of more than 50 employees, and to a non-profit organization. The awards will be given at the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics event at 11:45 a.m. on May 14th at Gladieux Meadows.
