UT Macbeth Dinner & Show Event- Sat. April 18
The UT Department of Theatre & Film production of Macbeth will offer a dinner package for the Saturday, April 18 performance. (Regular tickets to attend just the performance are also available.) Must purchase tickets in advance.
The dinner will be held in the Ingman Room, which will be set up to resemble an Elizabethan-style banquet hall. Even the menu takes its cues from the types of dishes served during Shakespeare’s era—chicken, roast pork, potatoes, fresh vegetables, and pastries for dessert.
Live period music will be performed during the feast by UT’s own Collegium Musicum, a group of student musicians led by music professor, Dr. Alice Petersen. Collegium Musicum will play a variety of ancient instruments and dress in period clothing. Come join the fun!
Tickets are $40 if one ticket is purchased. If more than one ticket is purchased, all tickets in the order are $35 each. Tickets include dinner, dessert and beverage (cash bar available also), transportation to and from dinner from the Center for Performing Arts, and a ticket to the performance of Macbeth, which will be held in the CPA Center Theatre.
Tickets are available online 24/7 at www.utoledo.edu/BoxOffice, or by calling 419.530.2375. The Box Office in the CPA is open Monday through Friday from 3-5 p.m., and on performance days 1 1/2 hours before curtain time.
