BGSU Glass Studio Farewell Party
Please join us for Bowling Green State University’s Glass Studio farewell party and last hurrah on Friday, May 1. We wanted to say thank you and goodbye to our old studio, as we clear the way for the renovation of the studio, new equipment and ventilation this summer.
Starting at 6pm there will be a reception in the classroom, which will include food and drinks. Please bring an item to share for the potluck and also bring your favorite story about the old glass studio. At 7 pm we will make a piece by playing the favorite game “exquisite corpse” with glass in which we will start a piece and pass it off to the next glass artist making the final piece out of this studio a collaborative effort. At 8 pm we will shut the whole studio down and have a moment of silence to give thanks to the studio and the end of an era of the BGSU glass department.
