The bARTley ART pARTy is the place to be!
The bARTley ART pARTy will be happening July 16th, 2009 from 6pm until 10pm. There will be a gallery set up in the lobby of the Bartley Lofts building showcasing the works of three award-winning artists. It will coincide with the Third Thursday Art walk in downtown Toledo. This is a great opportunity to see the interior of this beautiful old building, located on Washington St. at Ontario, as well as enjoy some great art, conversation, music, food and people. We will be showing the large contemporary canvases in acrylic by local artist, Marcie Sigrist, the acrylic and watercolor works by Carole Lantz of Eaton, Ohio as well as ceramic works by Toledo's Julie Webster, owner of Shine Ceramics. Live acoustic music will be performed by Bryan Sigrist. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Escorted tours of model units in the building and trips up to the rooftop pool with its breathtaking view of the skyline are available for anyone interested. Items for purchase also include one-of-a-kind handcrafted purses, hand-painted soaps and unique greeting cards that are really mini works of art. Ample free parking will be available for the event in the fenced-in lot along the alley side of the Bartley building. Come join in the fun and celebrate the arts in downtown Toledo!
