The Salvation Army Tools for School
The Salvation Army will be participating in a “Tools for School” promotion sponsored by Charter One Foundation. This program will provide a backpack with school supplies for children, in grades 1-8 to begin the school year. Registration for low-income families will be held August 3rd -7th and August 10th -14th from 9:00 to 11:00 am and 1:00 to 3:00 pm at The Salvation Army, 620 N Erie Street. East Toledo residents must apply at The Salvation Army Citadel, 752 Main Street (Main & Greenwood). To qualify you must bring the following:
PHOTO ID
SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS – for all household members.
BIRTH CERTIFICATES – for children seeking assistance and, if child is not birth child, proof of custody.
PROOF OF INCOME – for all household members.
PROOF OF ADDRESS – ie; utility bill.
Donated school supplies will be accepted at these locations: The Andersons, Charter One Banks, and all Office Max locations. Donations can be made from July 26th to August 14th. Monetary donations can be made at any Charter One Branch or mailed to The Salvation Army, PO Box 798, Toledo, OH 43697.
