Toledo Rep Announces New Artistic and Managing Director
Four weeks before the curtain goes up on its 77th season The Toledo Repertoire Theatre has named Lee Kr?henbühl, Ph.D., its new artistic and managing director. He replaces Gloria Moulopoulos, who resigned in May after eight years at the helm.
"Gloria was a beloved figure at The Rep and within the arts community as a whole. We are incredibly lucky to have found Lee to succeed her,” said Brad Smith, president of the theatre's board of trustees. “I can't wait for our audiences and volunteers to meet him."
Kr?henbühl arrives at The Rep with thirty-five years of stage experience as an actor and director. A longtime professor of theatre, communication and public relations, he earned his Ph.D. in theatre history at the University of Oregon after completing a master's degree in theology and the arts.
