Family Fun Day in Memory of Danielle & Emily Gerwin
This is the Second Annual Family Fun Day.
October 11,2009. To Celebrate Life And National Children's Day.
We wanted a day to bring families closer together.
We raise money to send a little boy and a little girl thru pre-school @ Bear Cub Academy. In Memory of Danielle and Emily Gerwin. They were killed in a plane accident June8,2008.
Emily went to pre-school that year and she cried the last day of school because she did not want it to end. So on her last day of school she kissed and hugged every child and teacher in her class and told them she loved them. Emily was only 4 years old at that time. Danielle loved children so we thought only fitting to do something like this and keep their memory alive.
We have a 30 person band come They are called the Swingsters. They play all sorts of music. Plus a D.J. and Karoke this year.
Cake walks. We will have some games you can play with a donation. We also have free games for a parent and child to do together.
Corn hole games ..hillbilly golf. for the adults & children to play for free.
We will have life flight ambulance there for 1 hour.
A karate class to show us and explain what it is all about.
Plus Gibsonburg Cheerleaders will perform for us.
(we are still working on some other demonstrations to get scheduled)
At 5 pm we have a special balloon lift off. You put a message for a loved one in a balloon and we gather everyone at 5 pm for the lift off. That is a Beautiful site to see.
And different raffles for children and adults.
lots of food . We have friends and families donating food for this event.
The Gibsonburg Cub scouts will help with the grilling.
Just loads of Fun we hope to see lots of people again this year.
