The retailers featured at the show include Meig, Elegant Rags, Red Envy, Francesca’s, Bella Brie, Gallippos, C Sterling Jewelers, Michael David, Jos A Banks, White House Black Market, Guess and Chico’s – while the salons rounding out the show are Soto Salon, Results Salon and Spa, Attitudes - A Salon, Hazelton Salon and The David Broadway Salon and Spa.

“This year’s event is even more regionally targeted than last year and it’s even more exciting. We don’t just have Levis retailers in the runway show because it’s at Levis Commons, in fact we have included Westfield and Fallen Timbers in our line-up of stores…” said Cheryl Hardy, Chair person for the event. “A collision of Culture and Couture is our theme this year, and we hope that people feel free to not only dress the part, but come expecting more than just a runway show. We’re setting the stage for future shows and we hope to keep the audience intrigued through our themes and use of Northwest Ohio assets, for example the Ballet Theatre this year, in addition to the great salons and retailers in the area.”

The EPIC Rocks Fashion Show is being produced entirely locally this year – an improvement from last year’s hired production team out of Louisville - considering how much the creation of an event of this magnitude helps the community when virtually 100% of the money spent and raised stays in the community. The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio will receive a portion of all proceeds from the event. The committee hopes to raise well over $10,000 for that charity and smaller amounts for other selected non-profits involved in the show.

“We are very proud of the strides that Cheryl was able to make this year,” stated Wendy Gramza, Executive Vice President of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and the person responsible for bringing the show to Northwest Ohio. “We had a fantastic event last year, but this year, we’ve accomplished some important goals for creating a truly local event benefiting many local companies and charities – not to mention the community as a whole – while keeping with the initial intent of the show – to create a great event that is exciting and affordable for the EPIC members of Toledo.”

This year, Cheryl Hardy and Lauren Gilmore, along with The Toledo Blade and Levis Commons, started a local modeling competition, Runway Rivalry, to fuel the runway model need for the EPIC Rocks Fashion show. Over 60 models from the Runway Rivalry competition will be involved in the show this Saturday in addition to the two first place winners, Ashley Kynard and Max Devolder.

The EPIC Rocks Fashion show is made possible through sponsorships and the hard work of committee members. Because ProMedica and Paramount believe that good health is ALWAYS in fashion, they are the presenting sponsor of EPIC Rocks Fashion. The Toledo Blade, WTVG 13abc and Clear Channel are very effective and supportive media partners of the event; The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and EPIC Toledo, OnLetterhead.com, LaScola Italian Grill, Ketel One Vodka, The Perrysburg Messenger Journal, Hylant Group, Perrysburg Flooring, Adam Rossi Photography, H.O.T. Graphics, Toledo Tent, Great Lakes Sound, Bartz Viviano, Downtown Deco and Toledo.com have also contributed valuable services that have made this production possible. A special thanks to Larry Dillin and the staff at Levis Commons for hosting the event. A long list of other sponsors and donors exists and will be displayed at the event.
