Hope for the Holidays

SOME LENAWEE COUNTY FAMILIES WILL BE HUNGRY AND LOOKING FOR HOPE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
Crossroads Community Church feeding hungry families this December.
Adrian, MI October 2009. On December 4 & 5, Crossroads Community Church is making a commitment to help hurting families by delivering boxes filled with food throughout Lenawee County. Crossroads will be helping to provide food to 1100 families. Last Christmas, Crossroads Community Church raised over $56,000 for 1000 hurting Lenawee County families. 300 volunteers packaged and distributed the food and supplies. This year, Crossroads is looking to raise more money and serve 1100 Lenawee County families. Crossroads’ Senior Pastor, Scott Winstead said, “You don’t have to go to a foreign country to find children that go to bed hungry. It’s happening right here in Lenawee County. And with our local economy, the number of families in need will certainly increase. Project Share is all about loving your neighbor...
those that have pulled together to help those that do not have... together we can make a difference. Our campaign’s motto is NO ONE SHOULD BE LEFT OUT.” One recipient of a Project Share package remarked, “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for Project Share. Not only did my family benefit from it, but I was able to share with others. So many items...were very specific to my family’s needs. I was so touched by the blessings.” Another recipient
commented, “Thank you so much for all the groceries! You have helped me out more than you know.” Crossroads Community Church is a contemporary, culturally relevant church designed to serve Lenawee County.
Crossroads meets Sundays 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. at the Christian Family Centre located at the corner of US
223 and Wolf Creek Hwy.
