OSCAR Night set for March 7th
The Greater Toledo Area Chapter of the American Red Cross will host the annual OSCAR Night on Sunday March 7, 2010 from 6-10 p.m. at the Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
Guests at OSCAR Night will enjoy star-treatment from the moment a limousine takes them from the parking lot to the red carpet, where they will be greeted by screaming fans and the paparazzi. Once inside, guests will enjoy upscale grazing and specialty drinks from Toledo’s finest restaurants, the Academy Awards presentation on the big-screen, and dancing to live bands. Participants can also vie for a number of “presenter baskets,” each containing special gifts and valued at over $500 a piece.
The goal of OSCAR Night is to raise funds for the programs and services of the local Red Cross chapter. Last year, the event raised over $54,000 with the proceeds directly helping those people in need in northwest Ohio.
