The Clarence Smith Community Chorus Annual Christmas Concert
The Clarence Smith Community Chorus will present its Annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, located at 1119 Bancroft St. A freewill offering will be collected.
The Community Chorus is proud to present the Central Catholic High School Glee Club, under the direction of Ms. Debra Barrow, as part of this year’s musical celebration. “It is truly exciting to have the very talented young people of the Central Catholic Glee Club joining us this year,” said Director Clarence Smith. The concert will consist of spirituals, songs of the season, and the always popular carol-along, led by Director Smith. The rousing finale will feature the combined choirs singing Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus.”
The evening promises to be a great beginning for the Holiday Season. Won’t you come and join us as we celebrate beautiful music and the joy of Christmas. Remember Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church.
