The Mobile Benefit Bank comes to Main Library
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is proud to join Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) and Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO) in co-sponsoring a Mobile Benefit Bank event scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, December 12 in the Wintergarden at Main Library, 325 Michigan St. This public event is FREE.
The Mobile Benefit Bank staff can assist you with applying for:
Food Stamps
WIC (Women, Infants, Children)
Medical Assistance
Senior Community Service Employment
Cash Assistance
The Golden Buckeye Card
Nutrition Assistance
Child Care Assistance
Home Energy Assistance
Voter Registration
Best Rx Prescription Assistance
You may also be eligible for FREE legal assistance with problems such as:
Bankruptcy
Consumer Debt (credit cards, car loans)
Domestic Violence and Divorce
Foreclosure Prevention
Landlord Tenant Issues (evictions, conditions)
Immigration Issues
Living Wills and Power of Attorney Matters
Legal Aid is not able to assist with criminal issues or traffic cases.
The Mobile Benefit Bank is a joint project of Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) and Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO), with grant support from the United Way of Greater Toledo, the Toledo Community Foundation, and the Lucas County Department of Job and Family Services.
