HOW TO GET TICKETS TO BROADWAY’S BIGGEST BLOCKBUSTER
WICKED
AT TOLEDO’S STRANAHAN THEATER

Tickets to WICKED, “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” (The New York Times), go on sale Saturday, December 5 for a limited three week run at the Stranahan Theater, March 31 – April 18. WICKED has broken house records in every city it has visited since 2005. Its popularity has created a desire for some to purchase blocks of tickets and sell them at inflated prices to unsuspecting patrons.

Here are the only ways we suggest purchasing tickets for this engagement:

Online at www.theaterleague.com; www.ticketmaster.com; by calling 800.745.3000 or the Stranahan box office at 419.381.8851, all Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting the Stranahan box office direct. Ticket prices are as follows (all prices + handling):

Tuesday – Thursday & Sunday Evening: Orch/Loge - $73 Balcony - $63 Gallery - $38.
Friday – Saturday & Saturday/Sunday Matinee: Orch/Loge - $78 Balcony - $68 Gallery - $43
Premium Seats – All Performances - $128

In previous engagements, when ticket buyers have been told that performances of WICKED are sold out, they sometimes find that tickets are still available through third parties: ticket agencies or brokers. Tickets purchased through these sources are usually substantially more expensive than the original ticket price. Please know that we cannot prevent these agencies from buying tickets when they go on sale, and laws governing ticket brokers (and how much they can charge for tickets) vary greatly from state-to-state.

Be aware that ticket agencies, brokers and scalpers have no affiliation with Theater League, Inc., the Stranahan Theater, or Ticketmaster. In many extreme cases, tickets have been offered for sale online, the purchaser has received what they think are tickets only to find they are copies of original tickets and not valid at the venue.

There have even been instances where ticket brokers have launched websites that might include the theatre name and/or name of our show in order to confuse ticket buyers. The advice is “Buyer Beware” when making ticket purchases and the only way patrons can be sure that they are purchasing legitimate tickets at the original ticket price is to use only the sources listed above.

Tickets will be available at the Stranahan Theater box office beginning at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5 and then online at theaterleague.com, ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 800.745.3000 beginning at 11:00 a.m. For more information on WICKED and the rest of the 2009-10 Lincoln Mercury Broadway Series at the Stranahan Theater visit theaterleague.com.
