Skot Horn: a sudden and unexpected BRUSH with PAINT
Hudson Gallery is pleased to announce a Solo Exhibition of paintings, ceramics and drawings by one of our areas finest artists, Skot Horn. This exhibit is full of colorful and exciting new works completed in the last year. Working primarily from memory, Horn approach's painting as a way of transferring his subconscious ideas onto the canvas with as little outside influence as possible. "Allowing my intuition to guide my hand has led to many personal insights, unexpected discoveries and ultimately universal truths", states Horn. The variety of personal imagery consistently returning in this work is interpreted by the artist as some of life's lessons yet to be understood. This same approach is utilized in whatever medium Skot is currently working in; be it painting, drawing, ceramics or wood.
