WinterFest 2010 Offers Great Fun and Great Deals for Two Weekends Beginning February 5 - 7 and February 12 - 14 If you are tired of staying in during the chilly days of winter, make plans to come out and enjoy Toledo’s first fun-filled WinterFest. Destination Toledo is joining forces with Imagination Station, the Toledo Zoo, the Toledo Museum of Art and Tam-O- Shanter ice rink to offer dozens of family activities, admission deals and great exhibits for all ages to help take the blah out of winter. Add great restaurant discounts and special hotels rates and packages to the mix, and you are set for a real get-a-way weekend. Following is a sampling of some cool highlights of the WinterFest celebration. Imagination Station Buy one adult admission and receive one child admission free. Come see the brand new, highly anticipated Animation Exhibition – a fully interactive exhibit where art, science and math combine to create superheroes and special effects. Also, enjoy the Extreme Science Theatre, Science Studio and Little KIDSPACE Science Studio. Toledo Zoo Frozentoesen continues with half off admission at the Toledo Zoo (free admission February 13 - 15 for Lucas County residents) and a special 20% off coupon at the gift shop.
