Theater Vision continues its 25th season with the award-winning Strega Nona and Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing:

Strega Nona, adapted from Tomie dePaola’s Caldecott Award-winning book, is a musical tale of a magical witch who strives to help out her tiny Italian town. When Big Anthony uses a magical spell from Strega Nona’s cookbook, the entire town becomes at risk of being engulfed by pasta. It’s up to Strega Nona to save the day. With an energetic and tuneful musical score, this fantastical tale teaches that witches can be good and that you can’t judge a pot by its pasta.

One of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, Much Ado About Nothing is a story featuring two couples — one totally devoted to each other, the other always locking horns, seemingly immune to love’s charms. Presented by the National Players, this fast-moving performance is filled with friendship, betrayal, mistaken identity, hilarious antics and the power of love.

Strega Nona shows on Wednesday, March 3 at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Much Ado About Nothing takes the stage on Tuesday, March 9 at 10 a.m. For ticket information and availability please call 419-824-3986 or visit www.lourdes.edu/theater for more information.
