Village Players Theatre upcoming production, Third
Come join the Village Players Theatre as we continue our 53rd season with the drama Third, which is written by Wendy Wasserstein and produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. It will be directed by Derek Hansen.
A timely and funny play, Third tells the story of college professor Laurie Jameson, whose seemingly well-ordered life as wife, mother and daughter is thrown into disarray when she accuses a student, an outwardly stereotypical jock nicknamed ‘Third,’ of plagiarism. Defined by its dazzlingly smart dialogue, crackling wit, intelligence and wryness, Third is true evidence of what made the late Wendy Wasserstein one of the most prominent female playwrights of the last 20 years.
The show will run March 5th – 20th, 2010 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sunday, March 14th at 2:00pm. Tickets are available by calling the ticket service at (419) 472-6817 or at the box office; $14 for General Admission and $12 for Seniors (60+) and students.
