School of Nursing launches enhanced website
Over the past five years, the Lourdes College School of Nursing has grown dramatically. Enrollment has increased by 46% and new programs such as the Master of Science in Nursing, LPN to BSN, Nurse’s Aide to BSN, and the Registered Nurse to Master of Science in Nursing have been added. To better meet the needs of its growing student body, the School of Nursing recently enhanced its online presence.
Under the new url nursing.lourdes.edu, the site features a revised information architecture making content easier to find for both prospective and current students and a more robust navigation system based on the most frequently accessed content. The site also features dynamic additions including:
• List of clinical practice sites
• Video features of alumni/students/faculty
• In-depth nursing news stories
• Calendar of nursing events
“This project was truly a labor of love for our School of Nursing,” shares Dr. Judy Didion, Dean of the School of Nursing. “Our goal is to serve our students in the best way possible and through nursing.lourdes.edu we are able to do that. We could not have completed this project without the vision of Thread Information Design and our dedicated intern and alumna Brandee Mendoza. We are very grateful for their hard work.”
