The Young Rep presents A Midsummer Night's Dream
The Young Rep along with the Toledo Repertoire Theatre is proud to present a new production of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Playwright Claudia Haas has written a clever adaptation of Shakespeare’s play that is fun for audiences of all ages. The play begins with The Dreamer, a modern girl, who is very frustrated in her ability to memorize a monologue from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. As she drifts off to sleep the trouble-making sprite, Puck, and a group of fairies transport the Dreamer into a world of magic, mayhem, and romance.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be performed on the Toledo Repertoire Theatre on the 10th Street stage, Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students K-8. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Toledo Rep during regular business hours; tickets may also be purchased online at toledorep.org. Also, tickets will be available at the box office before the performance. All seats are reserved.
