Happy Birthday JBs Sarnie Shoppe
It’s hard to believe that one year ago today “sarnie’s” were introduced to Northwest Ohio. Sarnie is an English slang term for sandwich and the bread and butter of the locally owned delicatessen JB’s Sarnie Shoppe at Levis Commons.
Co-owners Gareth Jones and Bruce Bansbach had a shared vision for a deli that served high quality meats and cheeses on fresh baked bread at a fair price. The restaurant offers made to order sandwiches, meats and cheeses by the pound, 2 varieties of soup each day, fresh fruit smoothies and freshly baked desserts including individually-sized cherry and apple pies, cookies and carrot cake.
The airy restaurant with a warehouse feel features a lively dine-in environment, free wi-fi and patio seating during the warmer months. For customer convenience J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe offers a special fax-in order menu and will provide catering for parties of all sizes. Located at 4195 Levis Commons Boulevard, J.B.’s Sarnie Shoppe is open for business Monday – Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
To celebrate a successful first year and bright future ahead JB’s Sarnie Shoppe has partnered with the American Cancer Society, The Official Sponsor of Birthdays®. On Tuesday, March 30, JB’s Sarnie Shoppe will host a “Sarnie’s for Strides” day at restaurant and donate $1 from every sarnie sold to the American Cancer Society. Several incentives and fundraisers will take place throughout the day including a free $5 gift card to Levis Commons for anyone who registers a team for the May 8th Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
