Sylvania Arts Commission Sponsors Student ArtFest 2010
Creative energy and imagination abounds in the student artists of Sylvania and the community is invited to see all of this wonderful talent on display at the Student ArtFest 2010.
“We are so happy to sponsor this event with such talented students” states Sherri Miller, SCAC board president. “The Sylvania area students who have art on display have been selected by their school’s art teacher. It’s an honor to be recognized by your school and we encourage the community to come out and enjoy this exhibit.”
This year’s event, co-sponsored with the City of Sylvania and the Ohio Arts Council, will be held on Saturday, March 27th at the Sylvania Senior Center in conjunction with the Sylvania Business Expo. The Sylvania Senior Center is located at 7140 Sylvania Ave. and the exhibit will be open from 10am to 2pm. The ArtFest is free and open to the public. Sylvania Community Arts Commission, a non-profit agency, promotes the awareness, interest and understanding of performing arts, arts education and visual arts in the greater Sylvania community for residents of all ages.
