Spotlight! Young Musicians featured with TSO
This Sunday, March 28, the winners of the Toledo Symphony League Young Artists Competition will appear with the Toledo Symphony at 4 p.m. in the Peristyle.
The Toledo Youth Orchestra (TYO) will join their professional colleagues in a side-by-side performance. Angela Li and Michael Lenahan are featured on the piano, with Nicholas Biniker on the violin in the first half along with the awards presentation. The second half will be the TYO with the TSO. They will be performing pieces by Grieg, Shostakovich, and Holst.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the box office at 419-246-8000 or by ordering on line at www.toledosymphony.com. Advance sale tickets are: Adult tickets $16 and $20, $10 for students. Tickets sold at the door are: Adult tickets $25 and $21, $10 for students.
