The Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio is pleased to announce the dedication of a magnificent mural painted by ILIVE. ILIVE is an Independent Living Skills Program through the Ability Center of Greater Toledo. They use the arts to help individuals with disabilities to gain skills to help them succeed throughout their lives. Since June of 2009, this group of young people has been painting a mural depicting many landmarks of the Toledo Area at The Salvation Army in the gymnasium entrance. After months of hard work it has been completed for both children and adults to enjoy as they enter into this area of The Salvation Army. Please join us on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 4 pm for the grand unveiling and dedication of this amazing piece of art. The Children of The Salvation Army Kidz Klub will participate in this event to show their appreciation for this gift given by ILIVE.
