The Glass City Rollers return to the Seagate Convention Centre in downtown Toledo for their third home roller derby bout of the 2009/2010 season to take on the Steel City Derby Demons from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Because the sport is growing so fast in Toledo, a special 'Fresh Meat' bout will take place before the main event. Glass City Rollers' new recruits will take on the new recruits of Circle City Socialites, a league from Indianpolis, Indiana.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Independent Advocates, a social change organization focusing on violence against women. http://www.iatoledo.org/
Half-time entertainment will be provided by The Zimmerman Twins.
After the bout, The Blarney Irish Pub & Grill, 601 Monroe at Huron, hosts the afterparty. Bout tickets are good for free admission into The Blarney that evening.
