Mozart and More Series finale to dazzle with All Amadeus
The Toledo Symphony Orchestra (TSO) is performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3 and Symphony No. 39 on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 PM at the Franciscan Center at Lourdes College.
Principal conductor Stefan Sanderling will lead the program featuring violinist Karen Gomyo. Ms. Gomyo was the recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant in 2008. This twenty-something started playing the violin at the age of five and later on attended the Julliard School on a full scholarship. In 1998 she became the youngest artist ever to be presented in the Young Concert Artists Series in New York.
She plays the rare "Ex Foulis" Stradivarius of 1714 that is on permanent loan to her from a private sponsor.
