Waterfront Dining in Lakeside, Ohio - Grand Opening May 17

Lakeside, OH – In honor of Hotel Lakeside’s 135th anniversary, the Lakeside Association will partner with Black Tie Catering to reopen the unique lakefront Hotel Lakeside Dining Room and accompanying outdoor café. Black Tie Catering is owned and operated by Jason and April Platfoot of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Their business will run the Hotel Lakeside dining services, as well as manage all Lakeside-catered events.
The official grand opening of the Hotel Lakeside dining room and outdoor café is slated for Monday, May 17. Lunch and dinner will be served from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Saturday. A Sunday Brunch Buffet will be offered from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning May 23. Cost for Sunday Brunch is $13.95 for adults, half-off for children (age 6-10), and children under the age of five are free. A free dining pass is available during the Chautauqua summer season (June 19-September 6) for admission onto the Lakeside grounds.
Guests can expect the dining room and outdoor café to provide a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. The menu will feature healthy, quality food at affordable prices. A limited children’s menu is available. Reservations can be made after May 17 by contacting 866-952-5374, ext. 255. In the case of inclement weather, the outdoor café will be closed.
