The Ohio Department of Insurance has asked the members of the Ohio Bail Agents Association to help distribute this press release. This press release is an attempt to inform the public on illegal bail bond practices and how to ensure the consumer is not cheated or scammed out of their hard earned money. Unfortunately this is a problem even in Toledo. Both the OBAA and Ohio Department of Insurance have worked very hard over the past couple of years to bring back the professional attitude of the bail Industry. The best way to do that is to inform the public on what we as agents can and cannot do.
