45th Annual Crosby Festival of the Arts

Crosby Festival of the Arts has always been known as our region's original, premiere fine arts festival. 2010 marks the 45th year and will continue the tradition of quality and originality of art offered. Festival-goers will see stunning work in ten different mediums from many exciting new artists as well as their returning favorites. In addition to the exquisite artwork from over 200 artists (a list of participating artists can be found at toledogarden.org), visitors will enjoy free live entertainment throughout the weekend, a delicious selection of edibles, free children's activities in the Children's Artistic Playhouse, beer and wine available for purchase throughout the weekend, and much more!
Festival Facts
· 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27
· 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 28
· Admission is $8 or $12 for a two-day pass
· Tickets available now at all Andersons retail stores for $7
· Children 12 and under and TBG members get in free
· Free parking and round-trip shuttle service is available at Wal-Mart at the corner of Central Avenue and Holland-Sylvania Road
· Scooters available for rent for those with limited mobility
· The Bancroft Street entrance to Toledo Botanical Garden will be closed to the public during the festival to accommodate the artists

The Preview Party will be held Friday, June 25 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. In addition to having the first opportunity to purchase works of art while leisurely browsing the artist booths, guests will enjoy grazing, catering by Gladieux, cocktails, and live music from Joan Crawford and the Academy Brass Quintet. Tickets for the Preview Party are $75 and are available by calling TBG at (419) 536-5597.

The 45th Annual Crosby Festival of the Arts is presented by The Andersons and further supported by Star 105.5, WRQN, Buckeye CableSystem, The Blade, 13ABC, The Toledo City Paper, Ulrich Pinciotti Design Group, WGTE Public Media, Mercy Health Partners, Toledo.com, The Ohio Arts Council, and Yark Automotive Group. The Festival is also supported by a grant from the American Recovery and Investment Act Fund through the National Endowment for the Arts, The Toledo Community Foundation and the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo.

Open daily year-round, admission is free (except for during certain special events) and always inspirational.

Toledo Botanical Garden, a public/private partnership between the Metroparks of the Toledo Area and the Toledo Botanical Board, Inc. in collaboration with the City of Toledo, is open seven days a week during daylight hours with no admission fee, except during certain special events. The Garden is located at 5403 Elmer Dr., between Reynolds and Holland-Sylvania roads, just south of Central Avenue. Visitors may also enter from Bancroft Street although there is no vehicular access to the north side of the Garden from the Bancroft entrance.
