Larry Miller and Pat Hazell to perform in Lakeside, Ohio

Lakeside, Ohio - Lakeside's Hoover Auditorium will be filled with laughter at 8:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13 as comedians Larry Miller and Pat Hazell take the stage.

Larry Miller is a comedian most known for his portrayal of an overprotective father in the 1999 classic, “10 Things I Hate About You,” starring alongside Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He is currently reprising his role in the ABC Family television show remake “10 Things I Hate About You,” starring Lindsey Shaw, Ethan Peck, Nicholas Braun and Meaghan Jette Martin. He has also starred in films such as “The Princess Diaries,” “Pretty Woman” and “Best in Show.” In 2001 he replaced John Ritter in the lead role of the Broadway play “The Dinner Party” with Jon Lovitz and Veanne Cox.

His recently published book, “Spoiled Rotten America: Outrages of Everyday Life” contains 17 comical essays and has received acclaim from other well-known comedians. Jerry Seinfeld has said, “Larry Miller is, was and will always be the funniest guy I know. I love this man. And you will love this book.” Miller is also a contributing humorist for The Huffington Post and Weekly Standard.
Hazell was one of the original screenwriters for NBC’s hit television show, “Seinfeld.” As the President of Sweetwood Productions, Hazell is in the business of being a funny businessman. He has hosted hundreds of award shows for companies such as Verizon, Paramount Home Video and Ford Motor Company.

Showtime has declared Hazell one of the five funniest people in America. His latest work is a one-man show and tell called, “The Wonder Bread Years.” It aired on PBS and he was been referred to as “America’s foremost cop culture anthropologist.” The show is currently on tour across the US and is receiving rave reviews.
