Maumee Branch Library presents Holiday on the Romantic Rhine
Join the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library as we take a Holiday on the Romantic Rhine at 10 a.m. on Thursday,August 12, at the Maumee Branch Library, 501 River Rd., Maumee, OH.
Travel expert Judy Pfaffenberger will visually take participants of this exciting program up the Rhine River as she shares her experiences viewing the castles, quaint villages and holiday markets.
The Rhine is the longest river in Germany, and one of the most important and longest in Europe. The Rhine River extends some 766 miles in length, and has long served as a vital waterway to carry goods and trade inland. Check out books about the Rhine, Germany and travel at the Maumee Branch and all library locations!
Light refreshments will be served at this FREE program for all ages to enjoy. We hope to see you there.
