Hot August Night at the Mud Hens Supports Local Non-Profits
Event: Hot August Night fundraiser to benefit Northwest Ohio Community Shares, a federation of 23 northwest Ohio-based non-profit organizations.
Date/Time: Wednesday, August 25, 6-8 p.m.
Location: Fifth Third Field, downtown Toledo
Tickets: $35/person and includes admission to the Mud Hens game, an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner, and silent auction. Call 419-243-6637 for tickets.
Background: Community Shares is an essential source of financial support and visibility in the community for its 23 member organizations, which address some of the most pressing issues facing our community today: health and human services, education and the arts, animal rights and the environment and social justice and peace.
