Local Restaurant Supports Bittersweet Farms

On August 22, 2010 Caper’s Restaurant and Bar in South Toledo will host a parking lot party to benefit Bittersweet Farms in Whitehouse.
Toledo, Ohio, August 5, 2010 – On August 22, 2010 Caper’s Restaurant and Bar will be hosting a day of fun and entertainment to benefit Bittersweet Farms of Whitehouse. The event will begin at Noon and go until 8pm, with activities happening all day.
There will be live music all day with rocking music from BOFFO hitting the stage at 4pm. Caper’s will be holding its first ever pizza eating contest at 2pm and corn hole tournaments going all day. Pre-registration for the contests and tournaments is available and recommended by calling 419.389.9900 or stopping in Caper’s at 2038 S. Byrne Rd. There will also be activities for kids so this is a great day to bring the family and support a great organization. A $3 donation is being asked at the gate and kids 12 and under get in free.
Caper’s feels that is important to show support to non-profit organizations, especially those that are local and directly benefit our community. The mission of Bittersweet, Inc. is to maximize opportunities for individual development of persons with autism by providing an array of premier services to individuals, and support to families.
