Art at your feeT - Street Painting Event Sept 11-12
Application Deadline - Aug. 28th - for Sept 11-12, ART AT YOUR FEET Street Painting Event!
Soliciting artists for Blissfield's second annual Art at your feet street painting event. Artists and their chalk creations will be showcased Sept. 11-12, from 9-5pm each day in downtown Blissfield. Chalk and materials will be provided to artists. Squares are typically 10 x 10', specific sizes can be adjusted based upon your design. We are planning for a big event this year that will feature trolley rides on Sunday from 12 - 3pm and live music Saturday @ 3pm. In addition to street artists we also have the following opportunities for artists:
1. Artist vendors – show and sell your art. We are providing 10x10 spaces for the cost of $25 for both days. Tent or canopy ok, but they must be weighted – no pegs in the pavement allowed. Please send pictures of your artwork for approval.
2. Artist demonstrations – We also have several merchants who are opening their stores for artists to demonstrate their craft or lost arts. Demonstrations will be held on Saturday from 10am – 2pm. Please contact us first for acceptance. You may bring items to display, but no sales from inside the stores.
