Lend Us a Tenor-Lourdes College Chorus Welcomes New Members!
The Lourdes College Chorus, Karen T. Biscay, Director, is looking for a few more good tenors—and baritones, basses, altos, and yes, more sopranos, too—to make us bigger and better than ever before!
Singers from the community are encouraged to come sing with us—
rehearsals begin on August 25, 6 pm, in the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center at Lourdes College,6832 Convent Blvd. Sylvania Ohio.
This community chorus serves our students as a credit course but is also open to student, faculty, staff and community volunteers! We sing a
wide variety of music in two principal on-campus concerts each semester,
plus occasional outreach concerts off-campus. Our Fall Music Showcase
in October will feature the music of Chopin, Schumann and Frank Loesser,
all of whom share 2010 as a centennial or bicentennial anniversary. The Maumee Community Band will again join us for our Christmas Concert.
