Fashion Show to Raise Funds for Toledo Animal Shelter and Assistance Dogs of America
On October 28, 2010 Elegant Rags of Perrysburg, Ohio will be showing off their fashionable attire at Inverness Country Club. This couture show will benefit the Toledo Animal Shelter and Assistance Dogs of America. Dogs will be walking the models this year!
On October 28, 2010 the Toledo Animal Shelter and the Assistance Dogs of America will be hosting a couture fashion show at Inverness Country Club. The chic attire will be provided by Elegant Rags in Perrysburg. This will be a great afternoon of fashion, a lovely lunch, and everyone supporting two great organizations. Doors open at 10:30am and the guests will enjoy a designer bake sale, featuring delicious homemade treats from cakes to pies to gifts for the holidays! Try to get your paws on any number of raffle items and services donated; Stella and Dot jewelry, children’s baskets, spa, purses, wine baskets and even a vodka basket to die for and this is only a few….wag your tail over to the silent auction area and bid on a fun lunch for two at Neiman Marcus, or an overnight stay at the Walden Country Inn and Suites in Aurora Ohio this committee outdid itself on securing the most wonderful gifts this year! Lunch will be at noon with a fabulous fashion show to follow.
The mission of the Toledo Animal Shelter is to find temporary and indefinite shelter and care for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats by promoting and sponsoring animal welfare education programs, adoptions, preventative veterinary care, and a mandatory spay/neuter program, with emphasis on a "no kill" policy for our animals. The mission of Assistance Dogs of America, Inc. is to help children and adults with disabilities achieve greater independence by training and placing service and therapy dogs to assist with the individual's daily needs. These are two great organizations and they will benefit highly from this event.
