Memorial Lutheran hosts Sept. 12 Rally Day worship, picnic
It's back to school time for countless area children, and it's back to Sunday School for people of all ages at Memorial Lutheran Church.
The church, located at 3215 Douglas Road in Toledo south of Monroe Street, will host its annual Rally Day on Sunday, Sept. 12, to kick off the 2010-2011 Sunday School program.
The theme of the day is "You Do Matter to God." The event starts with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. for preschoolers through adults. It's followed by a worship service at 10:30 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., the Rally Day picnic will commence, featuring a picnic with home-cooked food, an inflatable bounce house for children and a photo booth to capture a picture to show how you are God's masterpiece.
All activities are free and open to the public.
