Unison BHG to Mark Opening of Third Facility
Unison Behavioral Health Group will mark the opening of their 1212 Cherry Street facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 23 at 4:30 p.m. Toledo Mayor Mike Bell is scheduled to participate.
With nearly 40 years of experience, Unison Behavioral Health Group is the community’s recognized and preferred leader in caring for the behavioral health and substance abuse issues of adults, children and adolescents. Unison is a not-for-profit community mental health agency supported by the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Lucas County. Unison is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services. In addition, Unison is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation (JCAHO).
Unison currently operates three community mental health centers at 1425 Starr Avenue in East Toledo, 544 E. Woodruff Avenue, and their newest location in the heart of the city at 1212 Cherry Street.
