Hepcat Revival Featured in Lourdes' Cabaret Series
Lourdes is bringing back its popular Cabaret Series, hosted by the Franciscan Theatre and Conference Center. Beginning this fall, community members have the opportunity to enjoy cabarets by the following revered musical acts:
Friday, January 7: Hepcat Revival?
The high energy 7-piece swing/jump/blues band Hepcat Revival will dazzle concert goers with the music of B.B. King, Big Joe Turner, Cab Calloway, Louis Prima and Louis Jordan, as well as their own celebrated musical compositions. The group describes their sound as “toe-tapping, finger-poppin' music reminiscent of a time when cars were as big as Rhode Island, America traveled by rail and you didn't know what politicians did behind closed doors.” Hepcat performs throughout Midwest and has played major events for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Metroparks of the Toledo Area, Toledo Arts Commission, Toledo Museum of Art and the Toledo Opera. http://www.hepcatrevival.com/index.htm
