Lourdes’ Show Combines Planetarium and Underground Railroad
This fall, Lourdes’ Appold Planetarium is hosting a unique live-action original drama.
Presented in partnership with the Metroparks of the Toledo Area, The Conductor shares the
powerful, historic tale of the Underground Railroad and how those involved used the stars to
guide them on their journey. Written by Matthew Kizaur and Edmund Lingan, The Conductor
lets audiences experience the Underground Railroad through the eyes of one bewildered man and a voice from the past.
Showing on the following Fridays and Saturdays:
October 22 & 23
October 29 & 30
November 5 & 6
The Conductor plays on Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Admission is
$8 for adults and $7 for children, seniors and for Lourdes College students presenting their
student ID. Shows at the Appold Planetarium are limited to 50 and often sell out. For more
