Toledo Lucas County Library Offers Entrepreneur Workshop

THE COMMON SENSE ENTREPRENEUR featuring host Ray Nissen

No theories. No academia. Just good, basic real world skills and traits that are needed to start a business as the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Business Department proudly presents The Common Sense Entrepreneur, a FREE series featuring Tiffin University Adjunct Professor of Management Ray Nissen at three Library locations:

· Tuesday, October 26 – 7-8 p.m. Oregon Branch Library, 3340 Dustin Rd., Oregon, OH (419.259.5250)

· Saturday, October 30 – 2-3 p.m. Sanger Branch Library, 3030 W. Central Ave. (419.259.5370)

· Monday, November 15 – 7-8 p.m. Holland Branch Library, 1032 S. McCord Rd., Holland, OH (419.259.5240)

This series will focus on explaining the common sense skills needed to be an entrepreneur.

Nissen, who has taught International Business and Accounting at the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University, will explore topics including Problems as Opportunities, Passion-Profit-Persistence, Use the Power of the Internet, and Ask for a Helping Hand. Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Nissen currently teaches courses in International Management and Leading the Entrepreneurial Organization at Tiffin University.
