(Released October 11, 2010) – The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library presents Ohio-based mystery author Don Bruns at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 25 at the Waterville Branch Library, 800 Michigan Ave., Waterville, OH.

Join us in Waterville as acclaimed author Bruns talks about his latest titles and answers your questions about writing, music and his island-hopping protagonist Mick Server. This program is FREE and open to the public.

Bruns' books, which include Jamaican Blue, Barbados Heat, and St. Barts Breakdown, explore the seamy side of the music business, flipping the industry on its back and looking at the underbelly of power and corruption. Bruns’ latest book Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff, is scheduled to be released this December.

In Bruns’ series, protagonist Mick Sever is a journalist who chronicles the history of rock and roll, and uncovers murder. "There's enough crime, corruption, drugs, and slimy people in the music business to keep Mick Sever busy for a long time," Bruns states on his official Web site www.donbrunsbooks.com

Bruns, a traveling musician-turned-advertising executive, and three friends converted an old 1905 neighborhood grocery store into a nostalgic used book store titled, Bookends Used and Rare Books. The author lives in Ohio and travels to Florida and the Caribbean on a regular basis.
