UT's Beta Alpha Psi Hosts Susan G. Komen Fundraiser
A University of Toledo organization will host a fundraiser that offers students and the Toledo community a chance to enjoy good food and help support a great cause.
On Tuesday, Oct. 26 be sure to order pizza from JoJo’s Pizzeria, 4336 Monroe St., from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. to help support Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio.
The fundraiser is organized by Beta Alpha Psi, an accounting fraternity at UT, as its philanthropy effort to give back to the Northwest Ohio community.
For every customer that mentions Beta Alpha Psi or Race for the Cure when ordering at JoJo’s, either dine-in or carryout, Komen will receive 25 percent of the sale. Items on special and alcohol sales are not included in the fundraiser.
“Beta Alpha Psi felt that Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northwest Ohio is a great organization to be the beneficiary,” said Ben Blaesing, co-fundraising chair for Beta Alpha Psi. “It’s also a great way for not only our organization to give back, but for students at the University to give back to the community as well.”
