Zombie Prom and Little Shop of Horrors
Toledo School for the Arts (TSA) will flashback to the fifties for a double feature of chills and thrills November 4 – 7, 2010, at Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts.
In Zombie Prom, book and lyrics by John Dempsey, and music by Dana P. Rowe, the students of Enrico Fermi High are the victims of a zany, tyrannical principal until her star pupil falls head over heals for the school bad boy. An accident at the local nuclear power plant threatens true love with the walking dead.
In Little Shop of Horrors, book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, Seymour, clumsy employee of Mushnik’s Flower Shop, daydreams of lovely Audrey. But when they decide to display a mysterious new plant, Seymour discovers the real cost of making love grow.
