Library and Toledo Museum partner for 'Egypt' Discussion

(Released November 1, 2010) – The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Holland and Sanger Branch libraries are partnering with the Toledo Museum of Art’s program Pen to Palette to read, tour and discuss ancient Egypt in celebration of the Museum’s new exhibit, The Egypt Experience: Secrets of the Tomb.

· READ – Read Elizabeth Peters’ book Crocodile on the Sandbank (Amelia Peabody Series, Book One), then join the docent led tour! Check out Peters’ book at the Library!

· TOUR – Docent-led tour of Museum’s new exhibit, The Egypt Experience: Secrets of the Tomb, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 5.

· DISCUSS – Then participate in one of two book discussions from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, November 12 at the Holland Branch Library, 1032 S. McCord Rd., Holland, OH, and again from 7-8 p.m. on Monday, November 15 at the Sanger Branch Library, 3030 W. Central Ave.
