Library Offers Veterans' Creative Writing Workshop
(UPDATE release January 5, 2011) - Amy Hartman, Adult Services Librarian at the Sylvania Branch Library, and Holly Baumgartner, Professor of English at Lourdes College, will conduct a second workshop of thought-provoking writing and reading exercises intended to encourage all veterans, active and retired, to write about their experiences for their own benefit, or to share with friends and family.
This six-week Veterans Writing Workshop is FREE and runs each Monday night, January 24 through February 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sylvania Branch Library, 6749 Monroe St. in Sylvania. Writing tools, texts and refreshments will be provided.
