Toledo Zoo Presents Lights Before Christmas Encore
Twenty five years... One million lights... One more chance! Whether you missed the 25th Lights Before Christmas or whether your family just wants another chance to take in the spectacle of the region’s favorite family holiday tradition, The Toledo Zoo is offering one more opportunity with a special Encore Presentation—Friday, January 7 and Saturday, January 8. This Encore Presentation takes place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Encore Presentation offers the fun of The Lights Before Christmas for two extra exciting days. Your family can see the 85-foot Norway spruce, adorned with over 35,000 energy-saving LED lights, which was recently hailed as one of the tallest Christmas trees in the country by Travel + Leisure Magazine Online. You can also generate a little energy of your own with the new Pedal Power cycles, where you can light up a tree all by yourself (and maybe even burn off a few holiday calories!). And don’t miss the amazing Dancing Lights display, featuring holiday favorites chosen by visitors earlier this year.
Presented by KeyBank, The Lights Before Christmas features over one million lights, over 200 lighted animal images, and all sorts of Yuletide fun. Admission prices are $11 for adults, $8 for children (2-11) and seniors (60+), and free for children under age 2. Please note that the half-price admission offered during Frozentoesen Winter Weekends does not apply to this Encore Presentation.
