Lemony Snicket is the pseudonym of children’s book author, Daniel Handler. Snicket wrote the popular “Series of Unfortunate Events” as well as several picture books including “The Composer is Dead” and his newest book “13 Words.” “The Composer is Dead” is a murder mystery designed to introduce young people to the parts of the orchestra. An “inspector” seeks to solve the mystery by interrogating the violins, the French Horn and all the other instruments. It’s a perplexing mystery with plenty of fun for all ages.
